Onsite or Face to Face Case Management
We recognise that some organisations require a more frequent and dedicated service and have more regular referrals so we can provide a routine weekly or monthly service based on your site conducted by one of our Occupational Health nurses. Alternatively by arrangement we can provide consultation rooms at a location close to your worksite. Our Occupational Health nurses are well rehearsed in providing an on-site peripatetic service staying independent but providing a service that looks and feels ‘in-house’. Our nationwide network of Occupational Health nurses can provide a daily weekly or monthly absence referral service depending on the number of referrals you have. This will take place in the form of ‘clinics’ which would be face to face on-site or by telephone if you require. We have a reputation for building lasting relationships with clients using an in-house or on-site model which works very effectively if you are a multi-site organisation, where we can rotate clinics round your sites reducing staff travelling costs and lost work time due to travel. This kind of service is very effective where you want to combine your health surveillance and screening service with a regular routine absence management referral service. The Occupational Health nurse can fully integrate so they understand and know your culture, your business and your staff well but remain impartial and objective when giving advice on medical issues.
OH Doctor Referral Service
We realise that unfortunately, providing excellent, independent and evidence-based occupational health is hard to do and particularly so in what can be a difficult and contentious field of medicine. Sometimes the best advice is the least welcome, and pressures can be applied to the quality of professional practice and best practice approaches that may attract conflict and complaint. We are very confident in the quality and resilience of our Occupational Health nurses but from time to time they may need higher levels of clinical supervision and they may need to escalate complex cases or you may prefer to use an Occupational Health doctor rather than an Occupational Health nurse. We will provide accredited Occupational Health physicians for complex cases on an as needs basis or for regular work in which a OH doctor opinion is required such as early ill-heath retirements or disability or litigation.
To help you decide to refer or not we can offer you pre and post referral consultations with our OH practitioners, you can have this consultation face to face or by telephone on an ad-hoc basis or as part of your regular contract. Client feedback suggests this is a valuable resource and can make all the difference in managing complex cases. If you are unclear about our reports you can ask for a post referral case consultation to discuss the report and have any questions you may have, addressed.
If you would like to discuss any of the above services further, please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01748 824942.
