Lung Function Test
Lung Function Tests (Spirometry Tests) are an essential tool in the detection of early damage to lung function from work-related exposure to substances that have the potential to cause serious ill health.
Lung function tests measure how well your lungs are working and are helpful in finding the cause of breathing problems. They measure how much air you can breathe into your lungs (taking into account your age, height, sex and ethnic origin), how much air you can blow out of your lungs and how fast you can do it.
Lung function tests can help diagnose conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lung tissue), and COPD and to check how well treatments, such as asthma medicines, are working.
Industries we currently provide spirometry testing to include, but are not limited to:
• Spray painting
• Water treatment
• Soldering, electronic assembly
Screening is carried out by our fully trained and experienced technicians using equipment and methods that comply with current HSE guidelines. Each test takes only about 15 minutes, but can also be incorporated into your full employee health screening assessments if required.

As heart-breaking as this story is, you cannot help admire the skills and dedication of the police officers, legal and forensic teams involved. What they must they see is unimaginable, but to do what they do with such integrity and commitment, day by day, in the pursuit of these offenders and the protection of their victims, is extraordinary. "Our business required some ad hoc occupational health advice and we came across Marie Church CBT following a strong recommendation from another company. Marie and her team guided us through the referral process and our query was dealt with in a prompt, confidential and professional manner. The advice given was very clear and relevant to our manual work environment. I would definitely recommend Marie Church CBT to any business who is looking for occupational health support whether it be on an adhoc or contractual basis. - Armstrong & Son Ltd ."
